The surface wear of the crankshaft journal of the self suction pump is uneven, and the radial wear of the main journal and connecting rod journal is mainly elliptical. The wear parts of the pump correspond to each other, that is, the wear parts of each main journal are close to the side of the connecting rod journal; The wear of the connecting rod journal is also close to the side of the main journal. The crankshaft journal also has conical wear along the axial direction, and the elliptical wear of the journal is caused by the uneven distribution of forces acting on the journal in the circumferential direction.


When the self priming pump engine is working, the comprehensive force on the connecting rod journal always acts on the inner side of the connecting rod journal, and the direction is outward along the radius of the crankshaft, causing wear on the inner side of the connecting rod journal and forming an oval shape. The reason for the wear of the connecting rod journal of the intelligent self suction pump is that the oil passage leading to the connecting rod journal is tilted. Under the action of centrifugal force, mechanical impurities in the lubricating oil accumulate on one side of the connecting rod journal, causing the wear of the connecting rod journal to be conical.


When using a self priming pump, the surface of the shaft neck may be scratched and burned. Wear is mainly caused by unclean engine oil, which has large hard mechanical impurities scraping on the surface of the journal. The burning of tiles on the shaft surface is caused by burning tiles, mainly due to insufficient oil and other factors.
