1. When repairing and assembling energy-saving self priming pumps, special attention should be paid to various fitting clearances. Excessive clearance can cause leakage, while insufficient clearance can cause friction. Therefore, when assembling various parts, strict adherence to process technology requirements and standards should be followed.
2. Increase the speed of the self priming pump and reduce the diameter of the impeller. Because the larger the impeller diameter, the greater the friction loss of the disc. According to expert experiments, the friction loss of the disc is directly proportional to the third power of the rotational speed and the fifth power of the impeller outer diameter. Therefore, under the premise of constant head, increasing the pump speed can correspondingly reduce the diameter of the impeller, and the friction loss of the disc can be reduced to the fifth power.
3. Properly control the width on both sides of the pump chamber, and at the same time, control the width between the impeller outlet side and the pump chamber to the extrusion chamber, providing a smooth channel for flowing liquid and reducing hydraulic losses.
4. The shaft seal adopts a mechanical seal.
5. Improve the surface roughness of the cover plates on both sides of the impeller, pump body, impeller runner, and guide vane runner, even if the flow surface is flat and smooth.
6. Changing the shape of the sealing ring: Making the sealing ring into a labyrinth or serrated shape can reduce leakage and volume loss. The manufacturing process requirements for sealing rings need to be improved, design should be prioritized, materials should be good, and wear resistance should be ensured.
